Useful Information

  • The best period to admire the terraced rice fields is from late June to September. The terraced rice fields are cultivated in May and harvested in early September.

  • During the winter season (December to January), the weather is often cold and foggy early in the morning and late in the afternoon, and sometimes all day long on certain days.

  • For your safety: bring hiking shoes, a flashlight, and insect repellent for mosquitoes.

  • The train to Sapa is very traditional with a soft bed, but there can be a lot of vibrations and sometimes it can be noisy and uncomfortable for some guests. Bring earplugs for a better sleep.

  • The limousine shuttle will pick up tourists from various hotels in Hanoi, so you'll need to wait your turn patiently.
