Tips for the guide and driver
Useful Information
- You need to be present at least 30 minutes before the flight for check-in at the reception lounge at the Marina port on Tuan Chau Island for the 25-minute seaplane excursion.
- You have the option to choose fixed departures or rent a private seaplane for your group. For shared flights with fixed departures, the flight is only confirmed if there are a minimum of 4 registered persons.
- The schedule for fixed departures of the Seaplane from Tuan Chau Island: 9 AM, 9:55 AM, 10:50 AM, 11:45 AM, 1:25 PM, 2:20 PM, 3:15 PM. Children aged 2 and above occupying a private seat: 100% of the adult price.
- Overweight supplement: From 111 kg to 140 kg: 1.5 seats must be paid & Over 140 kg: 2 seats must be paid. You'll fly aboard the Cessna Grand Caravan 208B-EX seaplane. Each seaplane consists of 14 seats, including 2 seats for the pilots and 12 seats for passengers. The seats are arranged in 5 rows, except the first row with 2 seats for the pilots. The other 4 rows consist of 3 seats per row. Each row will have 2 window seats. Seat allocation occurs during your check-in; we cannot choose in advance.
- The speed of this seaplane can reach 300 km/h.
- In addition to the 25-minute seaplane flight over Halong Bay, you have 2 other options to see Halong Bay from the sky: (1). A 45-minute route from Noi Bai International Airport (Hanoi) to Tuan Chau (Halong) + exploration of the Bay by seaplane (2). Transfer by seaplane from Noi Bai International Airport (Hanoi) to Tuan Chau (Halong) in 30 minutes.
