Experience local life in the Red River Delta, take a sampan ride in Trang An, and enjoy a walk along the Sao Khe River.

8:00 AM: Head to Luc village. Enjoy a peaceful bicycle ride through villages and rice fields, exploring the daily life scenes of farmers in the Red River Delta. Witness rice husking and visit a local workshop. Meet friendly and hospitable farmers. Share lunch with them, an opportunity to taste Vietnamese specialties and connect with the locals. You can even participate in a cooking workshop with the host family, making Nem or fried pork with medicinal leaves.

Afternoon: Explore Trang An, a UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its stunning karst landscapes and as a filming location for "Kong: Skull Island." Enjoy a peaceful 2.5-hour sampan ride, gliding through emerald waters and a series of mystical caves that open into hidden valleys. Enjoy the enchanting landscapes, the beautiful view of karst mountains covered in tropical plants, and the beautiful emerald river. Along the way, visit tranquil pagodas and temples, including the Presentation Temple, where you can see red carp swimming.

Sampan excursion in Tam Coc, local life

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the Tam Coc pier to explore this renowned and beautiful site, often referred to as the "Halong Bay on Land," known for being the backdrop for several scenes in the film "Indochine." Embark on a 1.5-hour sampan ride on the Ngo Dong River, meandering through mountains and rice fields. Enjoy a serene boat ride, crossing three caves, and admiring the magnificent landscape featuring small hamlets, rice paddies, cemeteries, and temples. You'll also have the opportunity to observe fishermen in the rice fields. Disembark from the sampan for a short walk through the countryside.

Visit the ancient Thai Vi Temple, built in the 13th century to accommodate King Tran Thai Tong, who, after abdicating the throne to his son, dedicated himself to Buddhism. Next, take an optional bike ride through the Vietnamese countryside to the Bich Dong Pagoda, following the trail through Dam Khe village. Capture beautiful photos of rice fields, water buffaloes, and friendly locals during stops. Pause near a cemetery to gain a deeper understanding of Vietnamese customs and traditions related to the deceased. Explore Bich Dong, an ancient pagoda dating back to the 15th century, deepening your knowledge of Buddhism in Vietnam. Cross a stone bridge over a lake leading to Chua Ha, where, in summer, the fragrance of lotus flowers cultivated in the small lake fills the air. Climb over 100 steps to reach the splendid cave temples of Bich Dong, offering a panoramic view of the countryside. Return to Hanoi.
