Itinerary

Bicycle ride towards Tam Coc - Hang Mua - Dam Khe village - Bich Dong Pagoda, Sampan excursion to Linh Coc Hai Nham Valley.

8:00 AM: Begin your bicycle ride from your hotel towards Mua Cave, where, in ancient times, Tran Dynasty kings would come to watch dancers perform amidst the villages and rice fields.

Upon arriving at Hang Mua, you will spend about an hour climbing the 500 steps to the summit of these karst mountains. From here, you can enjoy a splendid panoramic view of the entire Tam Coc area, including the limestone peaks, rice fields, and boats peacefully gliding along the calm waterways.

Next, pedal your way to Bich Dong Pagoda, following a trail that passes through villages surrounded by rice paddies and karst peaks, including Dam Khe village. Take a break to capture beautiful photos of rice fields, water buffaloes, and friendly locals. You'll also stop near a cemetery to gain a better understanding of Vietnamese customs and traditions regarding the deceased.

Visit Bich Dong, an ancient and typical pagoda dating back to the 15th century, to learn more about Buddhism in Vietnam. You'll cross a stone bridge over a lake leading to Chua Ha, where, in summer, you can smell the pleasant fragrance of lotus flowers grown in the small lake. Continue climbing over 100 steps to reach magnificent temple-caves, including Trung and Thuong.

Continue your bike ride to the Linh Coc pier, where you'll embark on a 1.5-hour rowing sampan ride through rice fields, reeds, and limestone peaks covered in vegetation. During this journey, you'll pass through three caves, with the most beautiful and longest being the Buddha Cave.

Visit Thung Nham Bird Valley, an essential stop for bird enthusiasts. This bird garden spans over 300 hectares and is home to various bird species and numerous white storks that nest there. It's a wonderful destination with rows of karst rocks dotting the ponds.

You'll pedal along a small embankment to the Sun Valley, passing by ponds and canals surrounded by karst mountains.
