Day 1Hanoi - Sung Village, Immersion In Dzao Culture (L, D)
Discover the culture of the Dzao ethnic group, walk to explore the village.
8:00 AM: Depart for Sung Village, taking a scenic mountain road.
11:30 AM: Arrive at a village of the Dzao ethnic group, home to about 70 families. Agriculture and forestry are their main sources of income. Lunch with a local family. Afterwards, take a walk to explore the village and embark on a short hike to the captivating cave located 2 km from the village. Visit a century-old tea plantation. The trek includes steep and slippery sections, so for your safety, wear appropriate hiking shoes. Participate in a craft workshop focusing on "batik with indigo wax." Return to your homestay for a warm shower and an authentic dinner. Overnight in a homestay dormitory with a Dzao family.
Day 2Discovery Of Muong Culture And Limestone Landscapes – Xom Chien (B, L, D)
Explore the culture of the Muong ethnic group, Cruise on the "Halong Bay on Land"
Head to the Muong ethnic village located near the lake. Take a walk to visit the village and interact with the Muong ethnic people. Kayaking activity. Next, embark on a panoramic one-and-a-half-hour cruise on the Hoa Binh hydroelectric reservoir, often referred to as the "Halong Bay on Land."
Two stops during the cruise:
- Muong ethnic village, where you will learn about the fishing technique of the local residents. Observe how the locals paddle with their feet
- Visit a local temple dedicated to the Mother Goddess.
- Enjoy beautiful karst landscapes during the cruise.
Arrive at Thung Nai, then head to Xom Chien, an isolated community preserving several ancestral cultural values. Overnight with a Muong ethnic family.
Day 3Xom Chien – Nam Son Cave – Hanoi (B, L)
Explore the culture of the Muong ethnic group, Discovery of Nam Son Cave
Stroll through the village and enjoy its serenity. Short hike through the forest to discover Nam Son Cave, located at an altitude of nearly 1000 meters – a national natural replica. After a brief hike on a steep path, you will encounter a very small and narrow entrance that conceals a surprisingly large lake inside with beautiful stalactites and stalagmites.
Afternoon: Return to Hanoi
